Bristol’s Lost Pubs

Goat In Armour Narrow Quay

Between Alderskey Lane and Currant Lane, this area was cleared in 1901 to make way for the C.W.S. building which has since been demolished and replaced with an office block. When the Goat in Armour closed, Shadrach Potter moved to the Pioneer, in Keynsham.
