John Anjer was renter of the new cattle market and also had a cooperage at No. 62 Thomas Street, his home address was Albany Villa, Brislington Road. The Cattle Market Tavern was pulled down and rebuilt in 1915 when G.W.R. extended Temple Meads over most of the old cattle market. The pub closed in 1997 and was demolished on the 8th May 2018.
